I've been a dedicated Corsair user for many, many years, and their utilities bricking my mouse and keyboard inputs pushed me to find someone new. Folks on reddit seemed to unanimously suggest Wooting as the best in the biz these days. I was a bit hesitant to drop $200 on a smaller company for a keyboard, but I have to say I'm so glad I did. The board itself is sold and made very well, no flimsy parts that creak or feel brittle. The switches are awesome, always receiving input at lightning speeds to assist with quicker in-game actions. However, my favorite aspect is how whisper quiet the keys are compared to other mechanical keyboards. No more loud clacking that annoys everyone else in the room while you have headphones on - these keys click with a much more muted tone (still audible), roughly 35% the typical mechanical keyboard volume. They're also very satisfying to type on as they're so easy to push down. Feels like a lot less repeat effort in typing and extended periods of keyboard time.
I also LOVE that you don't need to install software - you can simply change your settings online, download the profile into the boards memory, and be on your way. No more pesky software updates, or worrying about inputs being hijacked by software and affecting your actions, or bogging down your startup with needless programs.
The keys do take a little getting used to as it's SUPER easy to hit keys, but that goes away over time.
Woot customer for a long time for me!
