Hi Brian,
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.
From our current lineup, the Wooting Two HE is actually our oldest model and not the most gaming-focused one we make today. Since its release we’ve made quite a few improvements across newer models when it comes to sound and feel, through different materials, mounting styles, and switch generations. That said, the core performance with the Hall Effect switches and Rapid Trigger should still hold up very well. Optionoally for a more premium experience we do also offer the 80HE in zinc or our latest 60HEv2 in aluminium.
The random key presses you mentioned at low actuation definitely shouldn’t be happening though. While very low actuation settings can be extremely sensitive, they should still be stable in normal use. A few things you could try are testing another USB port, trying a different cable, and making sure there aren’t any magnets nearby as those can interfere with Hall Effect sensors (some desks actually have magnets built in).
You can also use our analog monitor to visualize the measured key readings, which can help identify if something unusual is happening: https://analog-monitor.wootility.io/ (requires using a chromium based browser with hardware acceleration enabled)
If the issue persists, please reach out to us via wooting.io/support and we’ll gladly help investigate and provide warranty support if needed.
Thanks for giving our keyboard a try regardless, hope we can look into improving your experience and get you a properly working keyboard.
Cheers,
Nicky
